Why did I start blogging?

Living with the pandemic is the new normal but let's be honest, it is overwhelming and tiring at times. I needed something to keep me sane from this insanity.


When the pandemic just bloomed in Hong Kong, I had been staying home baking and cooking most of the time. I have never been more passionate about anything but baking as I find it really therapeutic and explorative. I have tons of failed bakings (iykyk) but I am constantly motivated to figure out why I failed and what are the adjustments to be made. Since then, I started a food account (@bakki_eats) and I have made friends with lots of amazing bakers and recipe developers all over the world. It is exciting to put myself out there to see how much more I can improve, learn and explore. I am still updating my food page which is quite remarkable for someone who has fleeting interests like me haha.


Speaking of interests, I have always love reading and constantly mesmerised by people who can write. This time, I want to challenge myself to start a blog, create a platform where I can share my baking recipes, thoughts or just about life in general with you all.
